Water freely at time of transplanting; when the first fruit is set, pinch off the ends of the branches to obtain early fruit. Sufficient plants for a small garden can be grown in a sliallow box or large flower-pot by placing it in a sunny window in a warm room or kitchen. For late use sow in a sheltered border m May, and set out the plants in July; the green fruit can be picked off before frost and i ripened under glass.
