Electrician Mate 3rd Class Leon Johnson of USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) gives verbal commands to Sgt. Steven Eakes, a military policeman assigned to Law Enforcement Detachment, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), while executing an arm manipulation technique during a non-lethal class as part of master-at-arms training aboard the amphibious transport dock ship May 18, 2017. The 24th MEU is underway with the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 6th Fleet area of operations.
