The York Maize Maze. The giant image of an astronaut cut in a field of maize marking the 40th anniversary of the first Apollo Moon landings, Elvington, York. The 10km of pathways form the largest in Europe, measuring over 300m (1000 ft) long, the Astronaut has been created with over 1 million maize plants.
