Sow about the middle of April, in well-prepared soil, covering the seeds thinly and evenly. Half an ounce willsow a bed of twentv square feet. Plant out in June, and cultivate asrecommended for cabbage. Dwarf Green Curled (secck/).—Dwarf ; leaves yellowish green, very finelyfringed. Per pkt., 5 cts.; oz., 10 cts.; 1-4 lb., 30 cts.; lb., $ Dwarf curled ivale. Dwarf iurple, or Brown. — A beautiful curled variety, with reddish-tintedleaves. Per pkt. 5 cts.; oz., 15 cts.; 1-4 lb., 30 cts.; lb., $ Green Curled Scotch. — Very hardy, and, like the Savoys, is improved bya moderate frost. Per pkt., 5 cts.; oz., 10 cts.; 1-4 lb., 30 cts.; lb., $ German Greens or Sprouts (Winter Kale). — Sow in September, in rowsone foot apart, and treat the same as spinach. A very hardy variety,much in favor with the market gardeners around New York. Per pkt.,5 cts.; oz., 10 cts.; 1-4 lb., 25 cts.; lb., 75 cts. BROCCOLL [Chou brocoli,FT(., Brocoli, Sparrjel-Kohl, G-En. Broculi, St.] One ounce will sow a bed of forty square feet, and produce about3,000 plants. Broccoli is nearly allied to the cauliflower, but is inferior in flavor.
