Klink Castle Hotel at dusk, near Waren on Müritz Lake, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany, Europe.

Klink is a municipality in the district Müritz in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Germany). The castle Klink was designed by the Berlin architect Hans Grisebach and built in 1898. Grisebach worked mainly in the style of the Renaissance, the round corner towers and oriels reminding one of the Loire castles of the French Renaissance. The building belonged before 1945 to the family von Schnitzler. After the war, it housed the local government and housing. The castle was renovated in the 1970s and was used extensively structurally by the FDGB holiday service as a convalescent home. Today it houses a de-luxe hotel.
