Berlin,House Arnhem,40-41 Badstr. Ghost sign on side of Historic listed building . Built to house employees of SJ Arnhem Safe Factory


The building at Badstrasse 40 - 41 was built by Wilhelm Martens (1892-3) as a residence for the employees of Safe Factory SJ Arnhem. It was commissioned by Karl Arnheim, the son of company founder Simon Joel Arnheim. The house is a five-storey brick building with red brick facades that are decorated with green black brick to form friezes and details. On the southern gable a ‘ghost' sign may be seen - an ad for the company, safe factory SJ Arnhem.
