The Santa Special or North Pole express waiting to enter Andrews House station on the Tanfield Railway. The line passes the boundary between Co. Durham and Gateshead near to this location but I believe that this spot is within Co. Durham. The locomotive is the 0-6-0T Twizell built by R. Stephenson and Co. in 1891.
