Badly damaged grave of Russian military officer Pyotr Gerasimenko on the burial ground for the orthodox people at Olšany Cemetery in Prague, Czech Republic. Captain Pyotr Vladimirovich Gerasimenko was born in 1886 in Pereyaslavl, Russian Empire, and died in 1921 at age about 35 in Prague, Czechoslovakia. He was one of the thousands and thousands Russian people who were forced to leave their homeland after the Bolshevik Revolution and the Russian Civil War.
