On June 18, the Vatican recognized the Antipolo Cathedral as the 11th international shrine, making it Philippines' first international shrine and first in Asia. The wooden Marian image of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage is one of the oldest image in the Philippines. It has been in the country for 397 years since it arrived in 1626 from Acapulco, Mexico.
