Ashbourne, Derbyshire, UK. The annual rumble between the Uppards and Downards that is Ashbourne Royal Shrovetide Footabll taking place. Essentially a giant rugby scrum that takes place over the whole town, players have to goal the ball at one of two goals and which team you play for depends on whether you were born upwards or downwards of the Henmore Brook which flocks through the town. The whole thing takes place again tomorrow (1st March), Ash Wednesday. The ball to extreme left of photo.
