Richard Rusby, British physicist. Rusby is a semi-retired NPL (National Physical Laboratory) Fellow and acts as consultant to NPL's Thermal Metrology department. For many years, he was Head of Temperature Standards in the Thermal Metrology department. He also represented the UK on the Consultative Committee for Thermometry, which was involved in establishing the International Temperature Scale of 1990 (ITS-90) in order to redefine the Celsius and Kelvin temperature scales.
