The Retail Florists' Association held its regular monthly meeting March 15, at the Washington hotel, with Presi- dent Charles Young in the chair and with twelve members present. During the course of the meeting the credit system and other interesting matters came up for discussion; these will be taken up for final action at the next meeting. A nice luncheon was served. The next meeting of the County Growers' Association will take place April 7. Secretary Joseph Deutsch- mauA informs us that A. S. Cerny is now vice-president of the association. Phil Schneider, whose headquarters are at 1930 Wash street, says his new wooden folding easel for florists has taken a good hold on the local trade. Shipping orders have also commenced to come in. Paul Berkowitz, of H. Bayersdorfer & Co., Philadelphia, was with us a few days last week. Mr. Berkowitz does not come often, but when he does he makes things hum. William C. Young, of the C. Young & Sons Co., sold his residence opposite the greenhouse range on Waterman ave- nue last week. He has purchased an apartment at 1316-18 Temple place, to which he will move at once.
