It is a Hybrid Tea, very beautiful in form and color; an early and constant bloomer, producing a wonderful profusion of buds and flowers all through the grow- ing season ; it is exceedingly sweet and handsome, and altogether one of the lovliest and most desir- able roses one can plant. Both flowers and buds are of grand size; the color is a lovely shade of peach blossom, changing to amber rose, elegantly tinged with crimson ; delicious tea fragrance, ex- ceedingly sweet; very full and wonderfully beauti- ful ; commences to bloom soon after planting out, and continues until stopped by freezing weather. Price, 10 cents each. Duchess of Albany. (Red La Franco 47 This is a superb rose ; resembles La France, but is more vigorous in growth and much deeper in color; hence the name Red La France seems very appropriate. It is a continuous and very free bloomer, producing a great abundance of lovel)'- buds and flowers all through the season. The flowers are extra large, very double and full, and remarkably fragrant; color bril- liant rose pink, exquisitely shaded. It is highly recom- mended as one of the largest, sweetest and best roses for general planting, both in open ground and for green- house culture. It is reasona- bly hardjr, but should have a good covering of leaves or straw before severe weather. Price, 15 cents Augustine Guineoisseau. (White La France.) The best recommendation we can give of this magnificent rose is that it is a White La France, having just a breath of rose tinte
