Turkey Ottoman Empire. Horse with traditional decorated saddle and bridle standing at a fountain called Menzil. These Menzils were located outside settlements and served caravans, travellers, farmers and their beasts. The fountains had inscriptions in verses, with the last line giving information about the construction date, either directly or in Ebced calculation.
