160801-M-EU999-001-Rota, Spain (Aug. 1, 2016) Cpl. David Bordeau from Nicholasville, Kentucky, and Lance Cpl. Joshua Krueger from Appleton, Wisconsin, conduct a short halt during a security patrol. During this training the Marines of Sixth Platoon improve their proficiency in scouting and patrolling. Sixth Platoon, headquartered in Rota, Spain, is prepared to conduct rapid response expeditionary anti-terrorism and security operations in order to protect vital national and naval assets.
