Former Texas Representative SCOTT TURNER, shown during his 2015 race for speaker of the Texas House, has been named by incoming president Donald Trump (not shown) to lead the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Turner, a former NFL football player, served two terms in the Texas House and is the highest level Black person Trump has selected for his administration.
