My answer is: Youare feeding your Parrot with anything and everything from the table, andhe has a constant itching, caused by heated blood, the consequences of im-proper food. Parrots naturally live on seeds and fruit, and should, in captiv-ity, be fed on hemp seed, yellow corn and sunflower seed, stale bread soakedin water and well squeezed out again, occasionally a piece of sweet apple orbanana; a few roasted peanuts are good, or a dry cracker; water to drinkinstead of coffee; many people use coffee (wrong); plenty gravel in thecage; clean the cage every day, as some of the stale bread spilled will getsour, and if picked up and eaten by the bird would cause trouble.
