Bikes and Banners as Businesses gear up for the world's greatest cycle race - the Tour de France - which will start in the county on 5th & 6th July 2014 bringing millions of fans to the Yorkshire roadside to cheer on the champions of the sport. It will be the first time Le Tour has visited the north of England. Yellow bikes have already appeared in several locations. The Tour starts its three day visit to Britain on Saturday July 5, with, two stages, a 120-mile leg from Leeds to Harrogate via the Yorkshire Dales National Park Communities along the route are gearing up to welcome the teams and thousands of visitors are expected to follow the race. DalesYellowBikes will be seen throughout the dales with a competition linking the many decorated yellow bikes and other attractions in the area.
