The Oratorical Association is composed of three representatives, elected annually,from each of the following literary societies, Athenian, Aelioian, Biblical, representatives elect their corps of officers as indicated above. The Association arranges everything incident to holding the local oratorical con-test, the purpose of which is to select an orator to represent the University in the statecontest. Mr. J. H. Moore won first place this year. The Association also selects oneof its members to attend the meeting of the state committee, which makes plans forthe state contest. The societies which have been organized recently, in the school, have asked forequal representation in this asso
