Callosa Alba.—A white flowering variety of dwarf habit: very fine. Callosa Atrosanguirtea.—In growth and habit similar to Callosa: flowers much darker and brighter: time of flowering June and July. Callosa Semperflorens.—A continuous bloomer, of dwarf, compact growth: flowers red in dense corymbs. Callosa Superba—Rosy white: a very free bloomer. Douglasi (Douglas' Spiraea)—Has spikes of beautiful deep rose-colored flowers in July and Aug. Opulifolia (Nine Bark)—A vigorous grower with broad foliage and white flowers in clusters along tfhe branches. Opulifolia Aurea (Golden Leaved)—An interesting variety, with golden-yellow tinted foliage, and double white flowers in June. Very conspicuous.
