In the picture shown in Fig. 13the patient was treated on alternate days for six weeks with thebrush-discharge with the result of absolutely relieving thetrouble, as is shown in Fig. 14. In this case the skin is per-fectly normal, and absolutely no scar remains over the regionaffected. The scar just beneath resulted from curettementand the employment of carbolic acid in a former treatment ofthe case.
