Elephants and Mahouts at Work Pulling Hard Wood Timber in Natural Forests. Myanmar
For the logging of hard wood timber in Myanmar natural forests the Burmese government uses elephants and their mahouts in order to pull the timber along the steep hillsides to gathering spots, where they can be loaded on trucks. The mahouts and their family stay in very basic camps made of bamboo huts.
