OnJune 27th our Division was withdrawn from the front and sentback towards Prince George Court House, to protect the rearagainst the rebel cavalry scouting in our rear. On the 29th, theDivision was recalled to the front, and placed in the works, re-lieving a portion of the Sixth Corps, who were sent to the relief. Sergeant Isaac N. 2, 1862. June 30, 1865.
