On the shore near thebeach there are the remains of an old hoteland a couple of houses, and at a short distanceback the coach-road, which runs both to Avalonand the Isthmus, may be seen on the side ofthe hill. Beyond Little Harbor we come to Cotton-wood Canyon, an excellent camping ground,with its groves of Cottonwood trees and apretty water fall. Beyond this we come to Ben WestonsBeach, which is a sandy but unsafe landing.
