Hockley Heath Warwickshire Thursday 22nd September 2016 Six Fire crews from two countries where called just before 10pm on Wednesday Evening to thee former hotel in the Village of Hockley Heath Warwickshire. The disused Hotel on Aylesbury Road caught fire leading to a large scale fire brigade presence from Warwickshire and West Midlands fire stations. At just after pm Warwickshire Fire and Rescue service said it had been called out to the fire on Aylesbury Road with two fire engines which others being called on from it's neighbours West Midlands. By 3am the fire was Still well alight with Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service saying there had been damage to 70pc of the building with one being been injured. Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service sent fire engines from Coleshill, Stratford, Alcester. Efforts to tackle the blaze are hampered due to large tree stopping an aerial ladder unit attending and parts of the roof and tiles falling from the building. An investigation into the cause of the blaze has been launched with Fire Investigation team likely to attend at first light.©UKNIP
