The 'Monster' slag heap at the site of the long disused Garnddyrys Forge, Pwll Ddu, Blorenge Mountain, Nr Abergavenny. The forge produced wrought iron bars, rail and plates from the mid 18th Century to its final closure in 1853 wne production shifted across the Blorenge Mountain to Blaenavon.
