Clock, dome and crosses atop the Abbey Church bell tower of the Western Australian Benedictine town of New Norcia.

Close up of the clock and dome on the Bell tower of the Abbey Church at New Norcia in Western Australia. New Norcia is the only operating Benedictine monastery in Australia and lies in the bush some 200kms north of the Western Australian capital city, Perth. Founded in 1846 by Dom Rosendo Salvado and Dom Joseph Serra, New Norcia (on the banks of the Moore river) continues to operate as a monastery and Catholic education center today. This photograph shows the extreme top of the bell tower with clock on the Abbey Church, which opened in the 1860s.
