PACIFIC OCEAN (Feb. 1, 2017) – Sailors assigned to amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) are raised from the water using a slewing arm davit in a seven meter ridged inflatable boat. America is currently underway conducting routine operations in preparation for deployment later this year.
