He was not learned, butwas remarkable for practical com-mon-sense, integrity, and benev-olence. He was a wholesale fishdealer, but his diligence in businessdid not interfere with his hired a room convenient to hisoffice, (Fulton Market,) as a placeto which he could retire for med-itation and prayer. His habit was to pray every time he cameinto his house from his business. He kept a charity fund, and. AARON KIXGSLAND. 452 Old Sands Street Church. gave away one tenth of his income.
