H Koch, of Nobscot, one of our local marguerite kings, has large ship- ments of fine flowers, including Mrs. Sander as well as the yellow variety. W. N. C. A PASSER'S PICK-UPS. It is not unusual to find the entire force busy at the store of Hembreiker & Cole, Springfield, 111., but April 12 the cause for the rush was unusual. In ad- dition to a number of out-of-town or- ders for funeral work, the decoration for the assembly at the governor's mansion required a great deal of work. This work was in charge of Miss Mere- dith, who was assisted by the staff of decorators. The main part of the deco- rations consisted of ferns, palms and numerous large baskets of Premier roses. The affair was one of the most elaborate of the season and gave the decorators an opportunity to display their skill, which they did to their credit. In the seed department of the Jans- sen Seed & Floral Co., Springfield, 111., the force is kept busy filling reorders for seeds.
