Vegetated roof at an ecological housing development, Bazouges-sous-Hede, France. The building materials used here were chosen to minimise the impact on the environment. The materials included wooden cladding, lime plaster with natural pigments, and a vegetated roof. Such materials allow better control over dust and pollen, and control of drainage following rains.
