Reports and offers from Anselmo de Yegros, Singapore. The Spanish priest Friar Anselmo Yegros arrived in Singapore in late1832, from Goa. He claimed to be head the Portuguese Mission, appointed as Vicar General of Singapore. Yegros offered methods to improve the conditions of lepers, translations of documents written in Sanskrit, mangosteen seeds, an optical telegraph and three crates of collected artefacts.
