The Pont au Change bridge over the Seine River in Paris at sunset

The Pont au Change is a beautiful bridge over the majestic Seine River in Paris, France. The bridge is situated between the first and fourth arrondissements. The bridge owes its name to goldsmiths and money changers who installed their shops on an earlier version of the bridge in the 12th century. It was constructed from 1858 - 1860, during Napoleon III reign. Pont au Change bears Napoleon III imperial insignia.
