ATLANTIC OCEAN (March 9, 2017) – Seaman Andrew Killey and Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class Erik Harrison put chafing gear on new mooring lines in the upper vehicle stowage area aboard amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7). Iwo Jima is underway conducting a series of qualifications and certifications as part of the basic phase of training in preparation for future operations and deployments.
