They are rather larger than the specimen de- scribed above of G. (juianermia, and differ otherwise, as stated, but agree iu tho dusky legs. If the Hanie species, they may be in au- tiinuiul plumage. A specimen from ]3ahia (thus likewise from the easternmost part of Brazil) is (puto similar. Additional specimens may prove it to be distinct from guianensis. (6*. cearensiis, Bd.)
