Collifrod lake is a fresh water lake on Bodmin moor covering an area of 900 acres and holds 28,540 million litres of water . It is a popular place for freshwater fishing and as a staring ppoint for moorland walks . It is located to the south of Jamaica Inn, the famous smugglers haunt immortalised by Daphne du Maurier, and in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty ( AONB ).
