Operational cantilever rail-mounted gantry (CRMG) cranes; New Brighton, The Wirral, Merseyside, Liverpool, UK. Dock cranes and rib craft training on the River Mersey.

New Brighton is situated at the entrance to the Mersey on the northeastern tip of the Wirral Penisula, overlooking the Irish sea and the bay of Liverpool. It is a quintessential seaside resort and is fondly remembered by all for it’s fresh air, sand and miles of promenade from which to view the marvellous sunsets. At it’s peak in the early 1900’s New Brighton was the most popular resort for Merseyside and afar and boasted the New Brighton Tower, ballroom and outdoor swimming pool. Together with countless attractions and amenities. Sadly, some no longer exist but New Brighton has now become the ‘New’ New Brighton with a major £60 million redevelopment program which has added the New Floral Pavilion and the Marine Point leisure complex together with extensive public works planned.
