Antique Pair of Japanese Hina Ningyo Imperial Dolls for Hinamatsuri Festival. Taisho Period
Japanese Dairi-bina dolls representing an imperial couple – Emperor and Empress. Intended for the top platform of a multi-tier display built during a traditional Japanese doll’s day (Hinamatsuri). In their original wooden storage box. Good antique condition with some signs of age as per photographs. Some of the original accessories are missing. Complete condition report is available upon request. Dimensions: Dolls are 14 and 16 cm tall including their lacquered bases measuring 18×13 cm. Wooden box measures 41x24x17 cm.
