Staff Sgt. Zachary Riesselmann, 56th Civil Engineer Squadron explosive ordnance disposal technician, closes a blasting cap container May 27, 2021, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. Over the course of 2020, Riesselmann distinguished himself in a deployed environment and the home station, leading programs for his entire flight as a senior airman and showing tireless dedication to volunteerism and the mission. For these reasons, the Air Education and Training Command selected Riesselmann as one of the 2021 AETC Outstanding Airmen of the Year.
