Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, UK. 19th October, 2015. Chinese President Xi Jinping together with his wife Peng Liyuan arrive at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Knightsbridge, west London, shortly after landing at Heathrow airport. The current President of China is making the first state visit to the UK this week, 10 years after the last official visit by a Chinese leader. A large contingent of pro Chinese supporters gathered outside the Manderin to welcome the president and his wife.
