Nat., Zool.' ser. 4, vol. xvi. p. 369, pi. x., under the name of Rhizopion bariensis, of which it is the type ; and also by Gaudry in ' Les Enchainements, &c.—Mammiferes Terti- aircs,' p. 30, fig. 19; and by Deperct in the ' Arch.
