The meetings are a spiritlal uplift to thoseattend and many have been strengthened and helpedin thi way. Our motto: Holiness unto the Lord. Aihlrtir A550riattmt T11K highest aim of Taylor University is to de-velop the moral and spiritual natures of herstudents. In order to do this, it is very essen-tial that she train their mental powers as well. Forthis she has a thorough course and an excellent fac-ulty, also literary societies, debating- clubs, and socialorganizations. But with the spirit and mind devel-oped, man is only two-thirds a man. In order that the highest good and usefulnessmay result from any life, it is necessary that soul,mind, and body be drawn into one symmetrical is for training the latter or physical nature thatthe Athletic Association was organized in this school. In the earlier history of the institution this wasnot what it should have been. But in September,1906. there was a reorganization of the Association with about two-thirds of the entire student body asmembers.
