Blr. and Mrs. Waddell began their do-mestic life upon the farm in Bethel Townshipwhere the former now resides. His wife was calledto her final rest in 1874. We now take up the personal histtuy of GeorgeA. Waddell, whose bojhood and youth were passedin the usual manner of farmer lads. He aided inthe labors of the farm during the summer mouthsand in the winter season attended the districtschools of the neighborhood. Remaining underthe parental loof until he had attained his major-ity, he then started out in life for himself and wentto Orange County, N.
