The dark-blue Walter Pyramid is a unique sports arena that is 18 stories tall and has become a landmark since 1994 when it was built on the campus of California State University at Long Beach (CSULB) in Southern California, USA. A prominent feature on that city's skyline, the 5,000-seat facility is home to men's and women's basketball and volleyball at Long Beach State, as well as the school's other athletic and fitness programs. Its vast interior is large enough for nine volleyball and three basketball courts. This pyramid is one of only four true pyramid structures in the United States.
