A photograph taken on June 14, 1918, by Pvt. Longaere, shows the 316th Machine Shop Truck, which served as a motor repair shop for ambulances during World War One. It was the first of its kind in France. The unit was commanded by Lieut. R. C. French from the The photo was taken at the American Pare 17 in Beauvais, France, on May 2, 1918. The image was censored and released on June 21, 1918.
