An etched morion with the original lining, German/Swiss, circa 1590 The skull forged in two pieces with a high fluted crest. Surrounded by lining rivets with decorative pewter rosettes. The brims have turned-under corded edges and rise to a point. Similar etching as in the previous lot with identical coats of arms. Original leather fittings and interior lining. The etching is badly worn in spots, one decorative rosette is missing, and the lining is somewhat damaged at the seams.
