A pair of silver-mounted flintlock pistols, Pierre Peyret à Paris, circa 1740. Two-stage barrels (reblued), decorated with gold-inlaid and chased rocaille and trophies. The mark "CN" with a crown is stamped on the side. The locks are engraved with decorative vines and rocaille with remnants of gold background. The lock plates are signed, "Pierre Peyret à Paris" Walnut root full stocks (one forearm has an old repaired crack). With richly profiled silver furniture (chased).
