It has occured to me that I probably have more photographs of this ruin on the other side of the glen than I do of our home! It is such an enigmatic building as it slowly succumbs to nature as the other buildings that once made up the lost village of Eskart already have. This last house, Daffodil Cottage, sits within sight of our home, yet I have not yet physically visited it, mainly as I failed to find it the one time I did head out to look. Once again the drone comes in handy and once again some dramatic weather and lighting serve to bring out the character of the place to it's best!
