Close-up of a metastatic neuroendocrine tumour (cancer) on the shoulder of an elderly male patient. The lump is located in the supraclavicular fossa. Neuroendocrine tumours arise from specialised nerve cells that produce hormones. They are rare, and this lump had spread (metastasised) from an unknown primary tumour.
