Will grow on any soil and has solved the problem of utilizing our alkali land. Will grow in the strongest black or white al- kali soil and produce an abund- ance of nutritious fodder, re- lished by all kinds of stock. Sow in beds in March and April and transplant about the first of June. Set plants 7 or 8 feet apart each way. To make a pasture for grazing, do not cut the first year, but let the seed fall and sod the ground. One pound of seed will furnish plants for an acre. Per oz 10c, per lb $1.
